I think I still have blurry polaroid snaps of a TV circa 1982 or 83, documenting my Pitfall high scores that I earned to get my Explorers Club patch. Funny thing is, I can't remember ever having the patch.
Problem was, we developed our film (no fancy polaroid for us) and most pics i took ended up catching the blinking screen without the score, just me grinning ear to ear (plus head gear) with a black screen. I DO still have my Pitfall patch. Sadly i lost my Chopper Command and Megamania patches, not to mention never capturing the many others i worked so hard to get.

I most certainly wore the head gear, and I envied the guys with neck gear, it was much, much cooler.
